Your session will be scheduled based on current availability.  I expect to book up quickly, so please be sure to schedule your session ASAP in order to secure your preferred date.

Thank you for purchasing the Groupon Boudoir Session package for Natural Beauty Boudoir!  I’ve come up with a bunch of information to try to help answer your questions before you even ask them!  If I missed any questions, please feel free to email me using the contact form linked above, or give us a call at 305-255-9922.  The contact form is very much preferred as I will be able to reply to emails much more quickly than phone calls.

ABOUT THE DEAL

What does the deal include?
This Groupon deal includes a boudoir session , with two or three glamorous looks, plus one 8×10 fully-retouched photograph of your choice in color or black and white, and a web-quality digital file of your retouched selection (a $160 value).

Can I buy multiple deals?  Can I buy some as gifts?
You may purchase one deal for yourself and up to 2 deals as gifts.  This is a great way to have a fun girls’ day with your best friends!  Multiple deals may not be combined.  Only one deal per person.

What type of session can I use the deal for?
This deal is for boudoir or conventional sessions only, which includes bridal boudoir and maternity boudoir.

What can I NOT use this deal for?
This deal can not be used for any other type of photography, including family, children, engagement, etc.

Can anyone else be photographed with me?
You will be the only person being photographed during your session, with the exception of your significant other.

Can I use my deal for multiple services and/or visits?
No, each deal can only be used for one session as listed on the deal.

What about hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup is not included in this deal, though may be available as an add-on through our studio.  Please inquire about this when you book your session so that I can check schedules with my preferred hair and makeup artists.

ABOUT THE SESSION

Where will the session take place?
Your session will take place at my studio in Miami. The studio is located at 8883 SW 131 St. Miami, FL 33176

Are outfits and/or lingerie provided?
You will bring your own outfits and lingerie as they are not provided by the studio.  Fabrics and wraps are provided by the studio.

Who will be there during my session?
The only people in the room for your session will be the photographer and you, the client.  You’re welcome to bring a friend or a significant other with you, if you’d like.  I have found, however, that having a friend watching the session actually tends to make clients more nervous and self-conscious than they would be otherwise.  If you do bring a friend or a significant other, I just ask that they not disrupt the session in any way and that you focus your attention on the photographer during the entire session.

How long is my session?

What should I wear TO the shoot?
Please wear loose fitting clothing that will not leave marks on your skin.  Be mindful of the bra you wear as bras often leave red marks or indentations on your skin.

Will you airbrush/retouch my photos?
Yes, digital retouching is standard in all of my packages. Most retouching begins and ends with skin smoothing as that’s all most women need. I don’t get rid of freckles and beauty marks (unless you request that I do) because that’s part of what makes you who you are.  And you’re beautiful the way that you are! Please refer to our before and afters. Feel free to discuss your concerns with us.

I’m super nervous and don’t know if I can be sexy in front of a camera.  Help!

Most women don’t automatically know what poses and expressions are sexy.  That’s okay!  I’ll help find the most flattering poses for you.  I’ll help coax those sultry expressions out, even if you’re feeling silly or nervous.

Will my images be posted on your website/Facebook?

Not unless you sign one of Natural Beauty’s model releases allowing me to use your images for promotional purposes.  There are two variations of our release: one for a full release of all images and one that allows use of only “anonymous” images (images that do not show your face).  With both types of releases, you will be able to exclude images that you feel are too intimate or you just would not like shared.

Do I own the copyright for the images from my session?

Natural Beauty retains ownership and copyright of all images, however we do provide web quality digital files of your purchased images for facebook or electronic devices. Images may not be copied, sold, or published by the client without written agreement by Natural Beauty Boudoir.

SCHEDULING

How do I book my session?

1. Read ALL THE WAY THROUGH THESE FAQS.  There’s important stuff in here!
2. CLICK THIS LINK TO SHOOT ME A MESSAGE with your contact info, your preferred session date/time and any questions or comments that you have.  Please include your Groupon voucher number.

I’ll email you back or contact you via phone with confirmation about your reserved session date!

That’s it!  When you come in for your session, please remember to bring your printed Groupon voucher or present your voucher on your smartphone.  If you don’t have the voucher with you, we’ll have to reschedule, so it’s SUPER important!

Can I give you a call to book my shoot?
I’m more than happy to answer any and all questions and would be happy to book you via phone.

How soon can my session take place?

Since Groupon deals are active the day after they run, I will begin scheduling sessions on the day AFTER the deal closes.  Sessions may be scheduled for as soon as the next week.  Please keep in mind that sessions are booked due to availability and I only offer a limited number of sessions per week so that I can give each client the personal attention they deserve.  I expect that I will book up quickly, so be sure to book your session date as soon as possible and well in advance of any gift giving occasion.

I would like my photos to be a gift for my significant other.  How far in advance should I book?
I expect my session schedule to book up quickly, so please plan for your session to take place 6-8 weeks prior to your gift giving occasion. If the event time is sooner, we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

When does my deal expire?
Your deal expires on November 28,2012.  That means that all sessions must be booked and completed by that day.  Please do not wait until the last minute as there will likely be plenty of ladies doing exactly that!  The last few months of the deal may fill up fast as we get closer to the expiration.

What if I need to reschedule?
I know things come up, ESPECIALLY for moms, so I’m happy to reschedule your session one time with a minimum of 48 hours notice.

What if I don’t notify you within 48 hours?

Our policy states that if you do not reschedule or cancel within 48 hours hours, we must charge you a fee equal to the amount of the Groupon voucher. To book your appointment, we require a credit card number to keep on file in case of this.

What if I’m late for my appointment?
I understand that it’s sometimes hard to get out of the door and get places on time!  Keeping that in mind, I’m happy to allow a 10 minute grace period from the time that the session is scheduled.  After that, the clock starts on your session.  So for example if you’re 15 minutes later than your scheduled time, you’ll receive a 40 minute session.  30 minutes late is a 20 minute session.  So please make every effort to be on time so that you can get the most out of your session as possible!

ORDERING

How long after my session can I order prints?
You will be able to view, select, and purchase the images immediately following the photoshoot!

How do I place my order?
You will be able to place your order immediately following your shoot, which is held at the studio.  We’ll go through all of your images individually and I will show you all of the different product options.  I’ll help you every step of the way to help you get the products that suit your needs.

How many images from my session will I get to choose from?
Depending on your goals, over 100 images will be taken and available for selection.

Am I required to place a minimum order or purchase anything in addition?
No, absolutely not.  But I feel that you’ll love your images so much that you’ll want more. If you would like any additional images, they will be available a la carte for $65-$85 for any size up to 8×10. Please call the studio for a more specific quote.

What if I want more than one image or a product like an album?
You’re more than welcome to purchase additional products and/or prints from your session.  I’m sure that you will love so many of your images that you won’t want to leave with just one high quality image.

Can I substitute my 8×10 print for a different size?
No substitutions are available for the Groupon deal.

When and where can I pick up my order?
Orders may be picked up at the studio.  I will give you a call when your order is in and we can schedule a time for you to pick it up.

How soon will I be able to pick up my prints once I have place my order?
Prints and most products will be ready to pick up within and average of 3-4 weeks of placing your order. To be more specific, small orders can be out as soon as 1-5 working varying on demand and large orders can take 4-8 again depending on order size and demand.  Certain products, such as albums, may require another 1-2 weeks before pickup.  Please keep these time frames in mind when scheduling your session.  Rush service may be available for an additional fee, if needed.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), cash and checks.  If paying by check, your order will be held until the check clears the bank.  There is a $50 returned check fee if the check bounces.  All orders must be paid in full before I will place the order with my vendors for your prints and products.

MISCELLANEOUS

If you sell a ton of Groupon deals, can you handle the business?
With all of the horror stories circulating about bad service received from daily deal type deals, I totally understand where you’re coming from and your concern is definitely warranted.  Please know, though, that I spent months researching and getting ready for this day and that I’m ready!  While I’m the only photographer, I have the back-end of my business ready to handle the influx of clients and I’m 100% confident that neither my level of customer service nor the quality of my product will go down.  If need be, I have additional staff that I’m ready to hire.  So buy and gift away!
